Ninteen institutes are involved for the preparation of greenhouse gas emission inventories of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide emitted from activities in various sectors including energy and Infrastructure sector, industrial processes, agricultural sectors, Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry and waste disposal activities. In order to make the inventories comparable and transparent, IPCC methodologies have been used.
